A well established multi national company is looking to recruit an Sr SAP Functional Consultant - Transport Management experience consultant for a new exciting role.
As this is a global organization location is open, however it is most likely work will mostly be undertaken in Europe and the Middle East.
Salary and package are excellent and localized according to preferred location. Travel is extensive with mobility and flexibility to work in other regions around the world periodically considered important.
As well as having strong client facing skills you will need to have solid SAP and Transport and Logictics Industry credibility to enable you to push through initiatives and fulfill business critical agendas.
A summary of experience and skills for this exciting role are:
- Good working experience in Transport Management and/or working for a Logistics Service provider
- 5+ years experience implementing SAP solutions in a logistics / SCM environment
- Excellent understanding of the end-to-end processes in international Air- / Ocean- Forwarding or Fright or Rail or Trucking (ideally both commercial and operations) (within Transport in general)
- Certified or trained or exposure in SAP Transport Management
- Understanding of transportation management solutions in general
- Good knowledge of SAP solution framework, industry solution areas, ASAP methodology and preferably Solution Manager
- Fundamental understanding of business process framework architecture, legacy system migration, connectivity and application integration
- Adept at handling project communications, capable of having c-level interactions and engaging with senior management stake-holders, managing expectations and proposing value-based offerings
- Strong presentation and communication skill set necessary - ability to comprehend business requirements and create a strong value for the proposed solution architecture
- Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments
- Fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages an asset
